Having its head waters pour off the Nisqually glacier on Mt. Rainier, the Nisqually river never disappoints local fishermen. The salmon fishing is great, where King, Coho and Chum salmon flourish here in the summer and fall months. On the Nisqually river, we target King salmon and Coho salmon starting in August - October usually getting large limits with easy water.
Operating out of our 18' jet sled, you surely cannot be disappointed with having 20lb salmon eating your eggs or spinners all day long, all the while being only 20 minutes from Tacoma, WA.
The Nisqually river is a great place for beginners or kids who are new to salmon fishing, to learn what its like to tangle with a mean hungry king salmon right in our back yard of Puget Sound.
